Established in 1917, Tokyo, Japan based Yokohama Rubber Company is a global manufacturing and sales company that spans over 100 countries. Yokohama began operations in the U.S. with the Yokohama Tire Corporation in 1969. Currently Yokohama has two operational U.S. manufacturing facilities; with a third plant located in Mississippi expected to become operational in 2015. Yokohama’s complete product line includes tires for high-performance, light truck, passenger car, commercial truck and bus, and off-the-road mining and construction applications.
